15 December 2011: 8 years, 270 days, nearly 4,500 fallen soldiers & about 30,000 wounded later…the Iraq War is over. The remaining 4,000 U.S. troops are mandated to withdraw from Iraqi territory by 31 December 2011 under the terms of a bilateral agreement signed in 2008.
Time to bring our troops home.
For those who have fallen, you will never be forgotten. Thank you for your sacrifices.
